Pure product is white crystal ,m.p.: 90-91°C. Industrial product is white solid, purity: 80-90%, m.p.:-89°C, specific weight: 1. 35. Easily Soluble in polar solvents like water, methanol, ethanol, acetone halogenated hydrocarbons like dichloromethane, dichloroethane . Low solubility in benzene, toluene, xylene. Easily decomposed in alkaline medium.

Application

Acephate is a low-toxicity broad-spectrum insecticide with interabsorption, stomach poisoning, contact toxicity.
